Serenitas was established in 2017 with the objective of establishing a leading land lease communities business.

The management of Serenitas has an established track record in the development and management of lifestyle residential communities.

Serenitas is a joint venture between Tasman Capital Partners, an Australian-owned and focused private equity firm, and GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund.

Tasman Capital is a mid-market private equity firm which has invested in a range of industries including healthcare, consumer and financial services.

GIC is a global long-term investor.

Rob Nichols | Serenitas Founder and CEO

Rob has a breadth of experience in the MHE sector that began in January 2012 when he purchased a village on the NSW Central Coast. He later founded Tasman Lifestyle Continuum (TLC) and then as CEO grew it into Australia’s third largest MHE operator with 11 villages. TLC was merged with Gateway Lifestyle Group (GLG) and the combined group floated in June 2015. Rob was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of GLG.

Rob is the chairman and a co-founder of Tasman Capital Partners that has invested in a range of industries including healthcare, consumer and financial services.

Before entering the MHE sector, Rob had a diverse career in private equity, corporate finance and as a chartered accountant both in Australia and overseas.

Rob is married and has a son and two daughters. His interests include most water sports and camping.
